March 20, 1939.
Dear Secretary,
We are enclosing a new pamphlet prepared for circulation and sale by committees, as literature which will assist in placing before supporters the tragic conditions of those Spanish refugees who fled before Franco's advance in Catalonia, to find a temporary refuge in the concentration camps established in France.
We urge all committees to extend their relief projects to include this urgent problem of the care of refugees in all its aspects. The Government of Mexico is known to be willing to accept many thousands of those who cannot safely return to Spain, and funds for transport purposes are tragically necessary if we are to help the Spanish people as we have done during the past three years. All funds raised should be sent to the National Joint Committee for Spanish Relief.
We will shortly issue new campaign material -- a poster, a leaflet and information sheets. The enclosed pamphlet should be very useful for sale at meetings, and for circularisation through the post with a covering letter asking for funds for help for the refugees of Spain.
In addition to this most urgent problem of ensuring safety for the lives of the thousands of refugees in the camps, your committee may be interested in a telegram just received from Mrs. Barbara Wood, the National Joint Committee representative in Valencia.

Yours sincerely,
Felice Clark
