Mr Walter M Citrine, General Secy The Trades Union Congress Transport House, Smith Square London S W 1 England
Dear Mr Citrine:
A group of American Labor Sportlers are leaving within a few days for Europe to participate in the People's Olympiad, at Barcelona, Spain. I am enclosing a list of the American participants and am sure that you will be very much interested in this expression
of Labor's solidarity on the part of America.
The comrades have approached me and expressed a desire to meet some of the leading British Laborites in London, while enroute to Spain. I therefore take great pleasure in introducing them to you and hope that you will make it possible that they meet some of the leading officers of the British Trade Union movement. You will note that three of the participants
are members of the International Ladies Garment Workers' Union, of which our friend, David Dubinsky is President.
Anything you can do for the American representatives
will be greatly appreciated.
Sincerely and fraternally yours,
Dr. A.S. Lipschitz
