Dear Mr. Palmer,
INTERNATIONAL BRIGADE.
As promised on the telephone this morning I am attaching copy of a letter which we have received from the Birmingham and District Co-operative Party urging that representations be made to the Government on behalf of former members of the International Brigade who are interned in camps in France, Spain and North Africa. We are very grateful to you for expressing your willingness to reply to this communication. We are not writing direct to your Birmingham branch.
Yours sincerely,
International Department.
