Transcript	International. HVT/AEC/DT/1448. 1st July, 1947. Mr. B.C. Slatter, Cheltenham and District Trades Council, 30, Ewlyn Road, CHELTENHAM. Dear Mr. Slatter, "EMERGENCY CONFERENCE ON SPAIN." I have your letter of 25th June in which you inform us that your Council have received an invitation to send delegates to an Emergency Conference on Spain to be held at Beaver Hall on 26th July. I understand that this Conference is being callad by the International Brigade Association, and in this connection I may say that the General Council have at no time had any association with this body.
