Dear Dr. Morgan,
As I understand from Mr. Tewson that you are somewhat inclined to the views I frankly express as to the policy of Westminster, I enclose a copy of letter, very crude, to Mr. Clynes.
I have written to Mr. Henderson, Publicity Dept. suggesting that he would be well advised to get the advice of a few democratic Catholics as to propaganda. The stuff put out by the Spanish Embassy, though good in its get-up is of no earthly use for Catholics in England as a whole. They want the 'Mick Collins' stuff and the days of '98. Not until their Irish history is put over to them will they listen to reason - at least that is my experience.
Now that the United Christian Front is coming into action there can be little doubt that Henderson should be preparing a counterblast. If you are of the same opinion as myself, perhaps you would advise him accordingly. I think, he will be putting me down as one with a bee in his bonnet - but I have been up against the subtle and intense blast that has been put over by the Albas.
Should I have been troubling you unduly, do please, accept my apologies.
Yours sincerely,
V.J. Clarkson
