MINUTES of the Executive Committee Meeting held at the House of Commons on June 21st, 1937, at 4.0 p.m.

1. MINUTES.
The Minutes of the meeting held on Monday, June 14th, having been circulated, were taken as read and signed, with one correction:
Financial Statement: Mr Roberts pointed out that this minute is incorrect. The amount mentioned as being necessary to keep the children in the country for a year should have been given as £50,000.
Agreed that with this correction the minutes be signed.
2. ARISING OUT OF THE MINUTES:
(a) Hon. Treasurership. Reported that the officers were in touch with Viscount Cecil of Chelwood, P.C., K.C. in the hope that he would accept this office.
(b) London County Council. Reported that difficulties had arisen out of the offer for two houses made by the L.C.C. owing to the amount of rates charged, which would have to be paid, and the fact  that there was no staff available. This raised the point of evacuation and whether it would be necessary to rush the children from the camp quite so quickly as we thought. The Chairman reported that she had spoken to the Minister of Health on the matter, and he had agreed that provided the arrangements went forward the matter need not be hurried unduly.
3.  APOLOGY FOR ABSENCE:
An apology for absence was received from Colonel Durman of the Salvation Army.
