The Chairman welcomed Father George who was present as representing Canon Craven.
1. MINUTES.
The Minutes of the meeting held on July 28th, 1937, having been circulated, were taken as read and with a verbal amendment, were signed.

3. CORRESPONDENCE.
4. REPATRIATION. Mrs. Manning reported on the interview which the officers had had with Mr. Patrick Malin, of the American Society of Friends. Mr. Malin had now returned to America and promised that he would ask the new representative (due to arrive in England on the 10th September) whether he could undertake the task of investigating the repatriation question for us.
Mr. Roberts reported on the interview with Lord Cranborne in regard to repatriation. He had agreed that the British Consul should counter-sign requests from parents for their children but had pointed out that we could not expect British Consuls to give
