MINUTES OF THE EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING HELD AT THE HOUSE OF COMMONS, LONDON, S.W.1 ON TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 2ND 1937, AT 4.30 P.M.

The Chairman stated that the meeting having been called at such short notice, there had been no time to prepare the minutes of the last meeting.
FINANCE:
Mr. Wilfred Roberts M.P., then gave a financial statement - see Account Sheet attached. The estimated future expenses are as follow:-

Permission was now asked to send the boys at present at Bronwydd to Margate, where an empty school in Laleham was available at a rental of £ 250 a year on a quarterly lease only.
Mr. Roberts then summitted a notion to close Bronwydd since the running and overheads there were costing us even now 27/6d. per week.
Carried unanimously that the matter be put in hand at the earliest possible moment, and that the children be moved as soon as convenient.
