1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE: Received from Mrs. Wilfrid Roberts and Mr. Harries.
2. MINUTES: The minutes of the meetings of October 1st. and October 11th. were approved and signed, having been circulated previously. As owing to pressure of business it had been impossible to circulate the minutes of the meetings of September 20th. and November 2nd. before the present meeting, it was agreed that these should be left over until the next meeting.
3. BUSINESS ARISING ON THE MINUTES.
(a) Adoption Scheme. The Secretary reported that all schools had been circulated and that responses were beginning to come in.
(b) Salvation Army. Reported that there had been no meeting of the Centres Committee since the last meeting, therefore this point had not been dealt with.
(c) Repatriation. Mr. Garratt reported that 152 children were repatriated on Friday, November 12th., leaving Victoria at 10. a.m. He described the arrangements which had been made for the reception of the children in London the night before embarkation. Conditions on the way to Spain had been fairly satisfactory, and certain difficulties had been noted for the future. The children had been sent by train as no suitable shipping had been available, and two of the committee's representatives, Dr. Norman White and Dame Janet Campbell, together with interpreters had been given
