TO OFFICERS AND MEMBERS OF THE NATIONAL JOINT COMMITTEE AND THE BASQUE CHILDREN'S COMMITTEE.
The Basque children are giving a Concert on the afternoon of Friday, April 22nd, and the Committee has been very kindly granted the use of Wyndham's Theatre for the occasion.
We shall never forget the reception given to the children at their previous concert in London. The House was full and many people had regretfully to be turned away. All who had the good fortune to see the performance will always remember how interesting it was and how very enjoyable. We are most anxious that the children's second Concert should be an even greater success.
One dozen handbills are enclosed and Officers and Members are asked to encourage their friends to take tickets and to be sure to come themselves, if possible bringing parties. Additional handbills will be gladly supplied on application to the Office.
Tickets will be available from Monday, April 4th, Please make certain of getting the best seats by applying early.
Secretaries of organisations represented on the Committees who will be sending out circulars within the next week or two and who could include the Concert handbill in envelopes to London, or near London, addresses, are requested to communicate with the Office. Any help of this kind forpublicising the Concert would be greatly appreciated.
Yours sincerely,
Olga Y. McCleland
Concert Secretary.
