2. MATTERS ARISING ON THE MINUTES: None.
3. PROBLEM OF SEÑORITAS. There are 135 of these girls divided among 57 homes. Dr. Morgan reported that she and Mr. MacCallum Scott had had a conversation with Mr. Cooper of the Home Office on the subject of these women taking private domestic posts. He asked that each case be put to him separately and consent would probably be given. It was left to the Basque Sub-Committee to take a decision on the Señoritas.
4. HOMES FOR OLDER BOYS. The Secretary reported on two projects for such a home: (a) Mr. Calvete; (b) Mr. Winter; but that these were both of a nebulous character. Further reported an interview with the Home Office, at which suggestions for two types of "adoption" were put forward: (a) for boys to live with private people
