BUSINESS ARISING FROM THE MINUTES:
(a) Faringdon. Mrs. Carritt had written to the Office stating that the whole matter of the Faringdon Home was to be brought up at a meeting of the Oxford Committee on Friday, November 25th. The decisions of that Committee would be communicated to the Basque Sub-Committee. Dr. Morgan said that the Committee was looking for new premises and had agreed to evacuate the younger children as soon as possible. The Chairman proposed that a letter be written to the Oxford Committee stating that this Committee appreciates the difficulties they have to contend with and stressing the necessity of replacing the present Auxiliar by an efficient cook. The Central Committee would be willing to assist Oxford with the salaries of a man and wife if they could not afford this. Dr. Morgan said there was a possibility of sending Mr. and Mrs. Williams to work in this capacity.
(b) S. E. - to go to Cabrils on condition that if his conduct were not satisfactory, he should be sent to Asistencia Social in Barcelona.
(c) Alfonso Garcia - Living at the Youth Hostel. Dr. Morgan reported in this connection the constitution of a small "London Fund Sub-committee" to deal with the boys working in London.
(d) Birmingham. Dr. Ellis stated that he had heard that this Home was now working satisfactorily.
