To Members of the National Joint Committee for Spanish Relief and the Basque Children's Committee
Enclosed are leaflets regarding the Ball which is being held in aid of the Basque Children.
Secretaries of organisations who could include a handbill with any circulars they happen to be sending out within the next fortnight are asked to communicate with this Office.
As Committee members are well aware of the low state of funds at present, it is hoped that they will support this effort by taking tickets themselves, where possible giving dinner parties that night and bringing their guests to the Ball, and by encouraging and persuading friends to take tickets.
Quite apart from the satisfaction to be derived from assisting to discharge the Committee's responsibilities, excellent entertainment is offered, and a most enjoyable evening is assured.
