Mr. C.C.S. Gibbs,

Gerrard's Cross,
BUCKINGHAMSHIRE.
Dear Mr. Gibbs,
CAMPS FOR BASQUE CHILDREN.
I have your letter of the 1st instant in regard to the placing of a married couple in one of the camps for Basque children.
I think the best thing that I can do is to recommend you to write to the National Committee for the Care of Basque Children at 4, Great Smith Street, London, S.W.1.
You will appreciate, however, that although there are nearly 2,000 Basque children still in this country the tendency is for there to be a contraction in the number of homes rather than the reverse. If, however, you were to let the National Committee in question have full particulars that would be the best course to adopt.
Yours faithfully,
Assistant Secretary.
