Dear Mr. Taylor,
SHOES FOR THE BASQUE CHILDREN.
Many thanks for your letter of the 7th June. I should like to say how very much we appreciate the decision of your Committee to send a quantity of shoes for the Basque children.
I should be glad if you could inform me of the number of shoes of each size, together with the estimated value, and the likely date of dispatch. This information is required in order that we might notify the Basque Children's Camp of their arrival, giving them details of the consignment and also giving your Union credit in the particulars of our fund for the amount which they are expending. Please address the shoes to the Basque Children's Camp, North Stoneham, Near Southampton.
Yours sincerely,
Assistant Secretary.
