General Secretary The Trades Union Congress Strictly Confidential Basque Camp Dear Sir I should like if it is possible to have a personal chat with you upon the situation that has arisen with regard to the above camp. It is impossible for me to place the full facts upon paper but I would be lacking in my duty as a Trade Unionist, providing the matter is treated as private and confidential, if I did not inform you. I dare not under the circumstances take the executive of my council into my confidence, but as you are appealing through the press for financial support for the object of maintaining these children it may be damaging should this information reach
