Many thanks for your letter from which I am pleased to note that you are hoping to form a local Committee to secure funds for the Basque children.
It is also noted that you hope to adopt a number of these children if a suitable house can be found in the district. I am enclosing herewith copy of a memorandum issued by the National Committee for the Care of Basque Children which contains useful information regarding the adoption of children by local Committees.
