Dear Sir,
Our Divisional Party have decided to Organise a "Flag Day" throughout the Caerphilly division in aid of the "Basque refugees", I made application to the Chief Constable of Glamorgan, Police Offices, Canton. Cardiff. for a Permit for Friday & Saturday, July 23rd. & 24th.
He is prepared to grant a "Permit" providing the application is made by the Central body, (Copy of his letter enclosed)
I should be glad therefore if your joint Council would make the nessesary application, I shall also be glad to know if your Committee could supply us with flags or other Emblems to be sold at 1d, or if you cannot supply them, could you give me the address of a suitable firm who can supply them.
