Dear Mr. Jones,
Flag Day "Save the Basque Children" Fund.
I have your letter of the 27th inst., in regard to the above matter.
In regard to the supply of flags, I would suggest that you speak to Mr. Parker, Secretary of the Bristol Trades and Labour Council, whose telephone number is Bristol 21886. I think you would get flags more cheaply and quite as quickly from a place like Bristol, where much of this type of printing is done.
I understand, however, that there was a flag day in Cardiff, and it may be that they have some flags over. How would it be to have a word with Mr. Robson before getting into touch with Mr. Parker. Mr. Robson's telephone number is Cardiff 4803.
In regard to the permit which is required, I am enclosing a letter which I hope will meet the requirements of the Chief Constable.
