Transcript	HVT/FC/EK/1214. Secretary's. 30th June, 1937. Mr. E.H. Parker, Bristol Trades and Labour Council, 1, Bristol Bridge, BRISTOL, 1. Dear Mr. Parker, BASQUE CHILDREN. I am very glad to have your letter of the 29th instant with the news of the repeated progress which you have made in connection with the appeal for Basque children to be provided with a home in Bristol. I received a letter some days ago from the Secretary of the Committee and, owing to a misunderstanding, I did not reply to it. Yesterday, however I took it across to the Secretary of the National Committee for the Care of Basque Children and I anticipated that a reply would be sent last night. The Secretary of the Committee is Miss Betty Arne of 53, Marsham Street, London, S.W.1. In connection with the purchases of beds and bed-clothing, it would be well worth while to get into touch with Miss Arne as the National Committee might be able to assist you as a result of enquiries which they have made.
