Mr. G. Ridley, M.P.,
The House of Commons,
London, S.W.1.
Dear Mr. Ridley,
SAVE THE BASQUE CHILDREN FUND.
I have your note accompanying the letter from the Co-operative Wholesale Society, dated 25th June.
Very many thanks for your helpful contribution to the above fund. In view of the indeterminable length of time which the children will be here offers of consistent help such as yours are most welcome.
I propose not to acknowledge the weekly amounts as you will receive acknowledgement through the medium of your bank account.
Again thanking you,
Yours sincerely,
Assistant Secretary.
