I thank you for your letter of the 7th inst., and am enclosing herewith a copy of an appeal which has been issued by the Trades Union Congress and the Labour Party on behalf of the Basque Children. I can assure you that any assistance which your association is able to give to our fund, will be very greatly appreciated and will be utilised to the best possible advantage.
