Transcript	HVT/RWL/824. Secretary's. 21st August, 1937. Mr. D.M. Brown, Perth Trades and Industrial Council, 2, Rae Place, Perth, SCOTLAND. Dear Mr. Brown, BASQUE CHILDREN FUND. I have your letter of the 20th instant in regard to the late despatch of the receipt for £27-6.0. I have gone very carefully into this and find that the sum was sent with a letter dated the 9th July, which arrived at this office on the 12th, which was the date of the receipt sent to you. I was rather concerned about the matter, as we make a special endeavour to despatch receipts on the same day as the amounts are received. Yours faithfully, Assistant Secretary.
