Dear Mr Tewson,
In view of the Red Cross Pre-Armistice preparations I am applying to the Home Secretary for cancellation of my Aliens' Certificate.
I have given a record of my activities since 1914 of which I enclose a copy. Mr Gillies has consented to help me if necessary by confirming that I aided the Labour Party in their Relief to Spain and I should be grateful if you would help me in you same way from the Trades Union Congress,
I submitted also a Red Cross quarterly Review just published in which are given some notes of mine on the Spanish War - these small bulletins have not been yet released but as soon as I obtain more copies I will send you one.
We are having very many lectures just now and these are mainly topics of Child Care and diseases created by war, starvation etc.,of which I already have had some experience but nethertheless are very interesting from their medical side.
The war news is so splendid that perhaps our services will be needed sooner than we at present expect.
I should like to see you again soon but I will ring up and arrange an appointment if I may -
Yours sincerely
Gwendolyn Adams de Puertas
