LABOUR'S SPAIN CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE
ROYAL ALBERT HALL SUB-COMMITTEE
A Meeting of the above sub-Committee was held at the House of Commons on Monday November 22nd at 6 p.m.

Minutes.
The Minutes of the Meeting held on Monday November 8th, 1937 were circulated and approved.
Matters Arising
The Secretary read a letter from Mrs. P. Robeson intimating that Mr. Paul Robeson's engagements would not permit of his singing at the Royal Albert Hall Demonstration.
The circular issued by the London Labour Party to Organisations was then read for the information of the Committee and it was suggested that a similar circular should be issued to Trade Union Branches and Co-operative Organisations within easy reach of the Royal Albert Hall. In such circulars it was agreed that the necessity for taking immediate collections to be handed in at the Meeting, should be emphasised.
Reports.
(a) Mr. Daines reported that the Choral Union had accepted our invitation to sing at the Demonstration, and that they were arranging for an organist for the evening.
(b) The Secretary reported that the N.T.A. had informed him that organised transport would be available for parties within the London area at the rate of 2/- per head. He further reported that tickets for admission to the Royal Albert Hall were now available for distribution.
(c) Mr. Hinley Atkinson reported that 32 selling agencies had been established, and that already a large number of posters and leaflets had been allocated. The order for posters had been increased, from 7,000 to 7,500 and the handbills from 200,000 to 250,000.
