LABOUR'S SPAIN CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE
ALBERT HALL SUB-COMMITTEE
A meeting of the above Committee was held at the House of Commons, Monday, November 8th, at 4 p.m.

Purpose of Committee
The Acting Secretary reported that the sub-committee had been appointed to make the necessary arrangements for a successful demonstration at the Albert Hall on Sunday, December 19, when the speakers would be:-

Additional Items for Programme
It was agreed to invite Mr. Paul Robeson to sing immediately before the collection and the Labour Choral Union to render items when the Chairman takes the chair and again after the collection. It was further agreed to arrange an organ recital from 6.45 to 7 p.m. Mr. Daines undertook to make the arrangements to secure the Choral Union and an organist.
Printing
Mr H. Atkinson was authorised to order 5,000 Double Crown Posters for display on approved sites and a further 2,000 for distribution among local parties for free display on Party premises, etc. and 200,000 handbills to be distributed by local Labour Parties.
Press Advertising
Mr. W.W. Henderson was authorised to proceed with the arrangements for advertising in the Press.The papers approved were "Daily Herald", ''News Chronicle", "Reynolds", "Star", "Citizen" and "Forward", and efforts were to be made to secure free write-ups in Constituency, Trade Union and other local journals.
