Dear Mrs. Manning,
Mr. George Jeger has approached me privately about the matter of his further remuneration as Secretary of the Spanish Medical Aid Committee.
You will remember that the Trustees were empowered by the Committee to reconsider the question of the Secretary's remuneration after the lapse of three months.
Mr. Jeger has not succeeded in getting a job yet, and in these circumstances I would just like to know what your attitude is towards the possibility of making a further grant for his work since the lapse of three months.
He tells me that he still has a certain amount of correspondence to do for us, and I am just wondering how much you would suggest as a further grant to him for his services in connection with the work of the Trustees.
Yours sincerely,
