Transcript	TRANSLATION OF LETTER FROM PASCUAL TOMAS, GENERAL SECRETARY OF THE UGT., DATED 29th DECEMBER 1945 Dear Comrade, At the beginning of 1946 it gives me pleasure to express my wish for the maximum prosperity for yourself, your family and your country in the coming year. The hours of hope and liberty which has struck for the whole world must be the prelude for the liberation of Spain. Spanish emigragrants [sic] and our people within the country hope that 1946 will be the year of its democratic rebirth. Reiterating my most cordial wishes for your health, I am, Yours fraternally, (SIGNED) PASCUAL TOMAS.
