Primrose 1363 To Sir Walter Citrine Transport House 22 February 1937 Dear Sir Walter, I am enclosing a first list of men in the International Brigade who are members of Trade Unions, or of the Labour Party, with their dependants. The total disbursements according [to] this list are about £70 weekly. There were, however, about 150 men absent from the British Battalion when this list was compiled, on service at another part of the Front. When particulars relating to them can be obtained, I will forward them to you. Their claims will not bring the total above £90 or round about that figure. It turns out that this total is
