They had all been repatriated ( together with Nurses Briscoe and Finley ) with the wounded members of the British Battalion. Dr. Bury gave an account of his work, and stated that in his opinion food was now more urgently needed than even medical supplies. The nurses stated that they would like to return to Spain if possible in about a month when the question of the withdrawal of volunteers will have been settled. They reported that they had not received parcels destined for them, and Mrs. Manning was asked to take up the matter with Miss Davson.
