re. Spanish Fund.
Our National Executive Committee from time to time receive communications from our branches urging that some assistance should be given to the dependents of the members of the International Brigade fighting in Spain.
At a meeting held on Sunday last I was directed to communicate with you to request the National Council of Labour to seriously consider whether they could not make a grant from their fund, to which this Union has subscribed quite generously.
