              Documents showing development of the crisis in the U.G.T
Document 1 - 22  of the 42, delegates who formed the National committee Of the  U.G.T. apply for a special meeting of the N.C., in agreement with article 33 of the Standing Rules, on August 30th, 1937,
Document 6 - Latter from the executive, dated 31st  August, telling the Delegate who had applied for a meeting of the N.C. that the Federations they represented are expelled from the U.G.T, under art. 9 of the rules, that refers to arrears in the payment of fees.
Document 3 - The expelled federations expose to members of the U.G.T. in a manifesto dated 9th September, that their exclusion is grossly unfair.
Document 4 Letter from of the excluded federations in protest, showing the unfairness of the pretext invoked, since 1 number of other federations,  although in arrears, have not been excluded.
Document 5 - The excluded federations, with a number of others that stand by them, and forming together a large majority of the N.C. meet on   September 14th and agree to call on the Executive to apply for a  general meeting of the N.C. in agreement with art.33 of the rules
they were asked to show a special mandate from their respective Federation; and asking whether the meeting of the N.C. will be summoned at last if such a mandate is provided.
Document 7 - Letter from Largo Caballero,   Sept.27th, answering the meeting shall be summoned...  when the "necessary   Report"   will have been drafted and printed.
Document 7(a) - Inaccurate report of the above- mentioned letter made by largo Caballero  at a meeting in   Madrid on October 17th.
Document 8 - Letter from the committee appointed by the majority of
delegates to the N.C., Sept. 29th, .asking the Executive to accept their proposal to summon a general meeting of the N. C, within 48 hours, to settle the     question of exclusions.
Document 9 -answer from Largo Caballero,  Sept.    29th., in which states the erroneously th at the meeting of the NC, can only be summoned by the Executive.
Document 10 -  Manifesto by 32 Federations,  Sept.   29th. calling full   Meeting of the N. C. in agreement with article 33 of the Rules.
Document 11.- certificates of the report of the  meeting of the N. C. on October 1st., dismissing from their posts, in agreement with article  46 of the Rules, several members of the   Executive,   and appointing a new Executive.
