Mr. T.E. Sheppard,
Deptford and Greenwich Trades Council,

Dear Mr. Sheppard,
GRANTS TO SPANISH MEDICAL AID COMMITTEE.
Referring to your letter of the 30th April containing the resolution of your Council in regard to the grants made to the Spanish Medical Aid Committee, the grants were made for specific purpose. Subsequent to the last £500 being granted, the Committee in question took a certain course which meant they were no longer responsible for the maintenance of their units, which was a responsibility in connection with which the grants were made.
Correspondence with the Spanish Medical Aid Committee is still under consideration, and at the moment the above is all the information which I can give on the matter.
Yours sincerely,
Assistant Secretary.
