With reference to your letter of the 21st May, on the above subject, I will at once get into touch again with our chief surgeon at Onteniente and find out what decision has been arrived at. I may say that, as far as I personally am concerned, I should be in favour of the engagement of Dr. and Mrs. Sligo on the conditions proposed, but I will write to you again as soon as the information arrives from the hospital.
